ABOUT ME

Courtney McCullough

I'm Courtney McCullough, a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Daily Light.

For years, I've been fascinated by the relationship we have with ourselves and how it shapes the way we experience the world, from the relationships we choose to the decisions we make and the lives we create.

Through my work as a psychotherapist, I've had the privilege of supporting people through some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. And one thing I've come to believe deeply is that meaningful, lasting change begins with the relationship we build with ourselves.

When we learn to understand our emotions, recognize our patterns, trust our own judgment, and respond to ourselves with compassion, we begin to move through life differently. We become less dependent on external validation and more capable of making choices that reflect who we truly are.

But this work isn't only something I've witnessed professionally. It's something I've experienced personally.

I've spent years exploring what it means to know myself, to challenge old beliefs, to develop greater emotional security, and to create a life that feels authentic to me. Journaling, reflection, psychology, and intentional daily practices have all played meaningful roles in that journey.

Daily Light was born from the desire to make this kind of inner work part of everyday life.

I wanted to create a space where personal growth feels accessible, practical, and sustainable. Somewhere you can return to yourself, develop greater self-awareness, and build the skills to navigate life with more clarity, confidence, and intention.

My approach draws on years of clinical experience, evidence-informed psychological principles, and a belief that growth isn't about becoming a perfect version of yourself.

It's about developing a more compassionate, secure, and trusting relationship with who you already are, while giving yourself permission to grow into who you want to become.

Because ultimately, I believe the relationship you have with yourself influences every other relationship you build, and what you have the courage to create during this precious time on earth.

And when that relationship becomes a place of security rather than criticism, so much becomes possible.
